A couple of things come to mind, you can decorate a hat stand, you might try a fake christmas tree with the branches either removed or less of them and then use the holes to make different limbs, Or you could use a suspension rod (the kind that wedge themselves in between ceiling and floor, that may not be the right name) and tape things to that.

good thoughts - I shall ponder. I'm kinda going for a taller effect but those might be good bases.

I think they are called tension rods.

Thanks!

Does the room have any support posts? You could tie real branches to one. Fake Christmas trees/Fake potted trees (often used in offices) would also work. A real potted tree, assuming that is something you would like to acquire in general...

no, it's about the only room in the place without an annoying support post! But great thought.
Muffyjo's / your thoughts about using a fake xmas tree as a base for other branches is a good one.
I will already be bringing every potted real and fake thing I can get my hands on. I would love to have a real tree of my vision there, but I don't see that happening. One can dream though!
Thanks for the thoughts!

Pipe cleaners are great for lashing branches on. Easy to attach, easy to remove, strong, and versatile.

Just have this event at my house. lol I have so many ivy's that snake across my ceiling, along with all my spider plants, that it'd be easy to work with. :)

do you have a 35 foot by 26 foot space?
Because that is the minimum area needed for this "project"

I would if I didn't have three fish tanks and numerous reptile habitats in the way... heh...

actually, the labyrinth needs that but space but the Earth is going in another. The whole program includes seven different spaces set up for different methods or themes of meditation and there will be a reiki spot and a missions spot.
not a small undertaking.
BTW, they got the labyrinth taped out today ... IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so so much!

I like the Xmas tree base idea, too.
Other option is a large branch in a pot of rocks. ES does that at Samhain East.
