when I start thinking I'm bringing too much

I look at the weather forecast. The predictable temp range is 36-74 and who knows what for the weekend. ... now, where's my portable heater ...

"predictable temp range"

Best typo of the day! :) I'm heading out to site (from the office) momentarily and am not looking forward to the part where it's supposed to be 30 degrees tonight!

Heh. :) I find it funny that the spring event has more variability than the fall one. I *know* that it will be cold then, and it's actually easier on packing!

Have fun!

a few years ago was especially poignant as Village Builders started the week watching our breath as we were in down/wool/silk layers, then the wednesday arrivals came with basically sweatshirt level garments for evenings, and the friday folks pretty much had a handful of shorts/tanks & sarongs for the weekend! And people wonder why VBs bring so much! HA!
Yeah, fall is easier to plan for! And, of course, there's the 3 days vs. 8 days thing too :)
I will have fun! I take it you aren't joining us this time?

Not this time, no. :) I don't think it's as much my thing as TC is, and I need to go back to Edmonton over Memorial Day weekend since I otherwise won't see my family till Christmas.

If you have not heard of or considered it, may I commend SpiritFire Festival to your attention? ... http://www.spiritfirefestival.org/
It's another gathering I go to. Not clanish like TC but a deep fire-circle based Spirit time.
Have a great visit home!
