My wife and bought a monitor from Micro Center last month because the price was pretty decent (after the mail-in rebate). We sent in the rebate form the day after we bought it.
Today, I received an e-mail from the rebate processing center:

Jonathan Coulton played a show here in Dallas last night. It was easily one of the best live music experiences I've had in years. When my wife and I were watching the movie trailers in front of Harry Potter a couple of weeks ago, one of the trailers was for The Seeker: The Dark is Rising. It looks like it's going to be a mediocre fantasy flick, but halfway through we spot Ian McShane, who played Al Swearingen in Deadwood. Wookiee weapons
At the Star Wars exhibit I visited earlier this afternoon at a local science museum, I was captivated by the display of Wookiee weapons. They are elegant and strange and you can resolve them down to most of their component parts if you stare at them long enough. My fiancee and I spent half of Saturday at the Texas Pinball Festival in Grapevine. While neither of us was sure if it would be worth our time or money, I can say with confidence that we both easily got our fifteen bucks' worth out of the few hours we were there.
