Wrote some fan fiction for the first time in a long time. It's Crystal Bearers, so people might not really care, but I found that I sort of wanted to play around with Layle's past a bit. A little writing exercise
Felt the urge to write a short story today after having a short bit of RP on FFMUX. Figured I'd write a little something staring my pirate character, Shae, since that muse always seems to be in gear and ready to ramble on. I swear, my neighborhood is turning me into a suspicious person. I suppose though, that really, given the stuff that's happened in around here in the last year or so (the shooting, the car theft incident) I'm justified in my paranoia. I think my love for complex characters, and in this instance Drone Riggers in particular has finally shot me in the foot. x_x If spent a couple days with the Shadowrun 4th rule book, reading and rereading everything that relates to drone riggers, I've looked at FAQs on the subject and even spent time lurking on the Dumpshock forums trying to figure ( Read more... ) -

I honestly can't believe I've had to do this much work for a character that isn't even mine. It's really quite silly. :P But anyway... I've put a bunch of little builds together for Nick's character based on different archetypes he's likely to encounter.
