Most of the time it's just for fun and not for escalation.

I didn't think I'd be able to remember, but when I really sat down and put some brain power behind it, I surprised myself. Even if it was just for fun and I didn't really "mean it" it was exciting, and it stuck with me.

I would love to read some of that.

I find that having uncensored thought-space, in my pen-and-paper journal, is extremely useful to me, especially for getting out issues and worries that I might not otherwise articulate. And writing in my LJ, in which a lot does not go, is a useful exercise in a different way, for figuring out how I want to authentically but selectively frame my story. In both cases, writing structures my thoughts in a way that can bring me to insights that I never would have found just straight up contemplating.

And yeah, I've made lists of people I've been close to before and then looked back and realized I forgot someone... embaaaarrassiiiing!

I discovered a fun fact the other day while thinking and writing about this. I asked a friend of mine about our first kiss, because I couldn't remember it.

That's because we've never kissed. Mutual masturbation, fingering and spanking in front of an audience, yes...kissing? not so much.

Wow, there is no way I could compile a list of all of the people I've kissed. The number has to be at least 100 by now. And there are definitely a few that I don't remember the name, but I remember the situation.
It's hard enough for me to keep track of the people I've had sex with.

Sometimes I wish I had smaller more "special" lists on both counts. Though I do have lots of interesting stories.

I am pretty sure I can make a comprehensive list of every person who has ever had their tongue in my mouth...I'm not going to, but I'm confident I can. I think it usually comes out to somewhere in the mid to high teens, but it's been a while.

Wait, do accidental tongue kisses from a dog count? Like, you're going to kiss the dog on the muzzle, and you're laughing or something, and then she (luckily, my dogs have all been girls, so I don't have to have any wondering about my sexuality here in addition to the cross-species erotic concerns) suddenly goes to lick you and you taste dog tongue...
