I'm sorry if I've missed it, but why do your legs hurt?
You know what might be a good exercise for you? My trainer taught me this- cuz I have an old knee injury and bursitis in my hip- get one of those big exercise balls and do "cardio" on it- you can bounce up and down on it, swinging your arms like you're jogging, sit on it and march your legs, sit on it and spread your legs in and out like jumping jacks and make arms (arms up like youre blocking a punch)go in an out... maybe try getting a kickboxing dvd and only do the arm stuff... anything to get your heart rate up without using too much impact on the legs. : )
Its a myriad of injuries thatI never really talked about on here. I have very bad knees but I am too young for knee replacement. I have nerve damage in my left leg because I have a L4/L5 compression (Sciatica) which causes pins and needles in that leg and last August I ruptured my Achilles tendon in my right leg. I also have heel spurs on both feet. So yeah Im a mess LOL. I take meds but no one doctor tells me how to lose the weight when I cant handle the pain after exercise they just tell me to lose weight! Yes I do the core stuff on a ball now and I use pilates bands.
I am here for you if you need or want to talk. I feel so insignifigant like what can some lowly 26 year old have to offer as insight. I just wish I knew what to say. I hope you just know that even on days when you don;t feel like you can do things, there are people out here who do belive in you! I hope you find your motivation soon!
