Hurricane hangovers

I think that Floridians experience a hangover-like effect after a hurricane. It manifests itself as disappointment and let down when the hurricane is anti-climactic and doesn't actually do any damage, disbelief and despair when the hurricane does do damage, and just plain lethargy no matter what the damage is.
