Something that happened today

I was walking north on Dufferin early this afternoon, walking towards the Eglinton West subway station. Normally when I'm traveling downtown I head in the opposite direction, but for whatever reason I decided to take a slower route through Little Jamaica today ( Read more... )

wow! Looks like an (negatively) exciting moment. I'm glad you did something because I notice that many people are cowards who don't interfere at all. I had a friend who was assaulted on a bus and no one did anything. I really hope the guy is caught.

THAT WAS THRILLING
catchy journalism

now my head is filled with an incredibly ridiculous image of you in the passenger seat of a cruiser, pointing with exagerration and with an unreal outstreched arm, knocking over half filled coffee cups and grabbing the steering wheel with frustation and impatients

someone should write a comic about you tim

Thanks! I'd like to live that dream.

PS. I met two old men who were playing the violin and accordian at the Bloor and Yonge subway station today. They both spoke very broken english but were really nice, and their music was very enjoyable. While I was talking to them, the accordian player kept asking me how much my cell phone cost, but I didn't understand it until he'd asked me about 6 times. Then he asked if it was a camera-phone.

I took their pictures on my cell phone, and it suddenly reminded me very much of one of your LJ posts.

obviously you must post the pictures
and continue talking to them, and write about them
and did you know that they have try outs in the summer to distrubute licences to these underground muscians.
only a select and talent few get in
you and me and everyone we know should go to watch in the summer

Better yet we should put together a supergroup and audition. I like singing, but if nessassary I could learn cowbell, or triangle.

The post you requested is up... I just learned how to send pictures from my phone to my email, so that's really exciting. Up until now they were trapped on my phone. But even just having the pictures is nice; it's like having a wallet filled with 60 pictures of my friends, and one of David Duchovny for good measure.

Luckily not everyone turned a blind eye, or that situation might have escalated. And lucky (for some) this isn't a seinfeld episode, or those bystanders would have been arrested and jailed for witnessing a crime and not helping out...

Your average person isn't equipt to deal with a fight, I'm sure we all remeber the 84 year old man Nathan Holder knocked out?

What are you gonna do? Help some girl and maybe get stabbed with a dirty needle or just keep walking?
