Well I've gone and done it now. I've gotten the final bid to buy a house. A bit over 3 acreas of land out in the country. It's an old Classic style house with lots of personality. But hey! Congrats on owning a house! Places with personality like that usually go up in value after time, so long as they don't fall in on themselves. I understand that numb feeling, but try not to think about it. Think about how you finally own the kind of place you've been wanting your whole life!
And I dunno how much 3 acres is, but if it's enough to hunt, then you could rent the land out to hunters (who will sometimes pay a lot) and get a little back to help make your next payment. ^_^
