So, I'm in DC now.
There are a few people who can read this who live in DC. I was wondering if you could give me any recommendations for radio stations to listen to and for restaurants to try in the next 3 months!

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!

I'm tired from moving BUT:
Radio. DC101 has been my sad but true standby lately. 94.7 was amazing until they changed formats recently.

restaurants:
Obama and I enjoy Five guys for fast food, ray's hell burgers for fancy, cheap burgers (made from fresh steak with super toppings), and Ben's Chili bowl for a local civil rights landmark and all beef coarse ground dog (half-smoke)
nicer stuff: in old town, we really enjoy vermilion. plenty of five-star restaurants in the area are good
a few in the area each of: lebanese taverna, thai phoon, thai tanic. lot of good vietnamese pho
beer: brickskeller, rfd, rustico, dogfish alehouse
Chargrilled chicken (seriously, amazing at this place) el pollo rico in VA square/clarendon area

that's a start off the top of my head

otherwise it just kind of depends on where you are located

I'm a little late on this reply, but thank you for the suggestions. I fully intend on getting my butt out to Ray's Hell and Old Town.

After talking to some of Cat's coworkers I'm about to give up on DC radio. It's not like Raleigh radio is better by any stretch of the imagination, but my iPod is just so convenient.

One more question, do you know of a local station that's particularly good for weather news? Weather.com and Wunderground.com are all well and good, but sometimes it's just nice to see how a local station works it (like my utter reliance on WRAL in raleigh, even though a lot of their stuff just parrots wunderground.com).

103.1 or .5 or something is the local 'news' station (used to be AM). Traffic and weather together on the 8s
