This was a good trip to Foodlink. Some days there seem to go on forever and you just get stuck lifting 50 pound boxes, but this time was a bit more fun. We sorted food like usual and yet again it was all junk food. I believe that it came from a gas station because the prices were outrageous. $4.58 for a package of Oreos? I think not. Another exciting day at Foodlink! I wonder how many paid employees they have versus the volunteer positions? I think they rely quite heavily on volunteer power....

I agree with your thoughts about offering some type of aid to college students who volunteer, maybe there should be some college credit earned also. Just a thought..
