My first day as a non-smoker is almost over and I did it!!!. I am also releived because it has been a lot easier than I thought the first day would be. Thank God for the patch. This weekend I went back home to visit the folks. My mom is doing awsome. Throughout the surgries, lab tets, scans, and chemo treatments her attitude has astounded me. I am so excited!! Shark Week on Discovery Channel starts tonight. An added bonus: Myth Busters are doing a Shark special. Yippie!!! I love that show.

Tonight I decided to go into Applebee's to get myself some dinner and a drink since Matt was bartending. Talked to some guy and he ended up living in St. Joe across the road from Matt's old neighborhood. What a small world.
