Today I finally gave in to Roman with an accent mark over the "a"'s peer pressure and bought London Calling.

It kicks an acceptable amount of ass.

Hurrah for figuring out how to use my computer's CD burning and ripping capabilities and ripping nine albums in one night! Now, when my dad gets me an iPod for Christmas, as he has suggested he may, I'll have something to put on it!

I swear to god.

When I was 16, I got carded for R-rated movies and M-rated games so much that it was a serious impediment to my social well-being.

Now, in the nearly seven months that I've been 17, I think I've been carded about once.

Anyway, I finally got around to buying Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs tonight.

It was a long ass week, but I finally got some fucking sleep last night. It feels sort of good, and also sort of like someone hit me in the back of the head with a sledgehammer. Which is perplexing.

Candide, by Voltaire
In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote

They should be good. Just have to knock out the last 200 pages of Crime and Punishment now. I love that book, but it is one fuck of a long one.
