What will happen to our nation if Bush gets reelected? Our country will be stronger, the economy will continue to recover, and freedom will spread across the globe like wildfire. If you're scared of that, eh.

As a Christian, I definitely support Bush because he IS a Christian. The man is born again and has a powerful testimony. The stem cell research and abortion issues point to his faith. John Kerry may have SOME faith...somewhere...deep...DEEP down. But even there he flip flops. He claims to be Catholic, but has been excommunicated by several Catholic churches. Why? He supports a woman's right to kill unborn children. Bible is kinda clear on THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

I don't think you are less of a Christian if you won't vote for Bush. God will move in the hearts of his people and none of them will come to power unless He wants them too (it's in Romans, perhaps Chapter 13). I kind of question why a Christian wouldn't vote for another Christian over a really ambiguous faith kind of man, but it's your God given right not to.

YOu can only get excommunitcated once. The pope has to excommunicate you. It's not like you try to go to differnt churches and they ALL excommunicate you. The Pope says no more of you and that's that. And how exactly did you find out that he was excommunicated? I've never heard that ( ... )

No thanks. I can get all the depressing facts about the state of the economy, whether or not they are even Dubya's fault, from Kerry himself.

I'd rather listen to the President who has an actual plan for the future.

and what plan is that? To continue to take money from the citizens of the United States and feed it all into a war that he started? I mean it's weird to me that you would rather just take his word for it than find out what's REALLY going on. It's not rocket science it's politics. It doesn't take a genious to know that he's more about greed than about helping the people who put him in office. How many people have to die? How many more AMERICAN CITIZENS have to loose their jobs? Their homes? Their loved ones? all because of One man who CAN be stopped. It's insane to think that this man has any good in mind. The ONLY thing you said that was true about George JR is that he SAID he was a born again Christian. That's the only thing. And if that's the ONLY reason you're voting for him that saddens me.

Your faith should have nothing to do with your politics... and your politics should have nothing to do with your faith. I'm not a christian so I don't know what exactly makes a christian but I don't think you're less of a chrisitan.. I think it's wonderful that you are looking beyond Dubya saying he loves God. I can say that and I don't even believe in god!!! I mean I think it's pretty naive of people to think just because the man says he is a born again Christian he is a saint.. When in fact he's a murderer. What's the difference between a woman CHOOSING to have an abortion and Bush FORCING the end of millions of people's lives in a country we shouldn't even be in ( ... )

I have been confused for quite some time about why Christians tend to support Bush and Republicans in general. Of course, the main reason is usually that they are uninformed about politics and all they know is that they believe abortion is murder and homosexuality is deviant. They may not know that Bush has policies that harm the environment or show favoritism to big corporations. Because they are uninformed about MOST issues, they can only support Bush based on those limited issues related to their faith ( ... )

i like bush because he consults God and is a man of faith. i like where he stands on the issues. i like bush because he doesn't back down from what he says or does. i don't like kerry because he is not a man of faith from what i understand. i don't like kerry because i don't understand where he really stands on things. i also fear if he gets elected that we will not be as safe as we are right now as a country.
i don't disagree with the war on iraq either. :/ sooooo i dunno.
my dad says he is voting for kerry. i'm not really sure i care 'cause i'm not out there to tell people who to vote for really, i am just basically prayinga bout it at this point that God will put who He wants in office... eventually we will have to get a bad leader though because that's just what the Bible says will happen... so who knows.

c'mon...you know this is the reason why i keep my faith close to me, because when people know that you are a CHRISTIAN they put you under the label as being an oh-so-perfect, hollier than thou, down right snobby person. and dude you definitely proved it. it worries me to think you are showing His love.
