On one of the web sites I frequent a bit too much during the work day there is a discussion about accents in movies. They are specifically making fun of Tom Cruise and his non-German accent in the "Valkyrie" movie trailer. They are also arguing about the other accents, the use of accents all together, and subtitles. People get so angry over this ( Read more... ) -

Happy for the 30 Rock wins, as it is an awesome show, but I am a tiny bit mad.
Why the fuck didn't Michael Emerson win best supporting for Ben in lost cause frankly, he was amazing. Seriously creepy and evil, but twisted and funny. And Huge Laurie just rocks, but I am less mad at that cause he wasn't there to make an awesome speech. -
taking stock
Even though there are times when I feel like my life has tarnished into an insurmountable pile of useless junk, there come moments when I remember just how lucky I really am. I am blessed with some of the best friends a girl could ever want, and a family that helps a lot more than it hurts (no, really!)

Writer's Block: In the Event of a Zombie Emergency
