Question about Glitch and the people who knew him as Ambrose

After watching the whole series again on the SPACE channel I had a question about Glitch and the people who knew him as Ambrose. Four people who knew Ambrose, or should have known him, but didn't say a word  upon seeing him. Tutor, Ahamo, The Queen and Azkadellia all knew who he was and hadn't seen him for years but no one said a word.

I never thought about some of the things you mentioned, but I DID think about that last part. She really should have given him a hug, since he had done and given up so much for her. Maybe they didnt want to take the focus away from DG?

I think you are right that they didn't want to take the focus away from DG. I think if the ending wasn't so abrupt we would have gotten that because we could seen the characters interacting.

I've wondered the same thing. Its definately clear that the Queen and Ambrose were close, he was her advisor. I'm really surprised Tutor and The Queen didn't say a word.

I'm sure that Az had told Tutor what they did to Ambrose but since he was no harm because his brain wasn't there they weren't worried.

1. Tutor, I think, works on his own agenda. Given the timeline, he was in the clink even before the Witch took power, so he probably was up to something. Best guess is that Ambrose was the one who busted him. Therefore, it would have been in the Dog's best interest to keep as much distance from Ambrose as he could

1.) That's true, Tutor was in jail for 15 years but the witch didn't take full power till Az was older (the actresses changed) so she either got him right away or he did wrong all on his own. I wonder if he was first to join with her but she screwed him over, by taking what she wanted then locking him up?

2.) That's true. Imagine the shock he had when he saw what become of his old friend. I thought he might say something to DG more then brunt it out in the bar. But I guess after 15 years of not seeing her child mentioning mutual friends isn't the top of the list.

3.) Agreed. I didn't know that nod to the book as I haven't read it. It's a nice nod though.

4.) I would love that to be what happens! Everyone would be shocked by Glitch remembering the name, he's say something cute, maybe DH would pat him on the arm and smile then the Queen would run to hug him. Followed by Ahamo giving him a hug.

There are tons of questions from the series left unanswered. First and foremost: What in the world is the Queen's name? ;D

But I just think they didn't want to get into everything. There really was so much going on they didn't have time to explain everything in that limited amount of time.

There's so much Tutor keeps his trap shut about, I have trouble seeing him as a sympathetic character. I think my face matched Cain's pissed off, let-me-shoot-him-Princess expression while watching that scene. Plus sending DG off to confront the cave alone, yeah, he has her best interest at heart, really he does.

In my personal fannon, the witch grabbed Toto after killing DG and kept him locked in a magical prison until she consolidated her power and built the Tower. He was probably the first prisoner locked in it. But he had all that time to think over what Az had done and what DG in her traumatized state kept trying to tell all the grownups was wrong with Az that he dismissed. There's a wellspring of bitter there that hasn't been dealt with, and that's another factor of why he didn't bring Ambrose's past to light.
