Misa was told how she knew him. He was one of Misa's friends and Misa forgot about him. He was working with Ryuuzaki-Kun, on the Kira case! Misa must have talked to him when she was helping Ryuuzaki!

How could someone who Misa doesn't know take Misa away from someone she does?

He was, Light-Kun seems like a nice man and he is very sweet. Even if Misa doesn't remember him he was still nice in explaining to Misa about everything and confirming what Ryuuzaki-San said was true, apart from him being Kira-San. No-one can be Kira-san apart from Kira.

Kira was right. Kira is justice! The world was a better place.

I don't know. It was the kind of dumb, jealous logic I should have gotten over in high school. I'm...a slow learner, I guess. And I was still half-convinced by what Mello told me, and face it - you love Kira more than anything. How the hell would I have competed with God?

Of course they can't. He seems too bright-eyed and rosy-cheeked to be a God, anyway.

Mm-hm. I wish there was someone in my world strong enough to do what Kira did.

Misa still hasn't gotten over that. Anyone that tried to take Kira away from Misa died. Kira was Misa's, still is. I want him to return to me one day. Misa would like that a lot. Misa misses her Kira. Misa does, Misa can't help it but love him. Why would you want to compete? You would only want to do that if you wanted Misa as a girlfriend. You are at the top of the friends list, Ashley. That's where you will stay, okay?~

Kira isn't anything like that Light person. Kira is much more smarter and much meaner.

Maybe one day there will be.
