That's a relief. To tell you the truth, I'm not all that sure how to treat high-ranking people sometimes. I don't want to have to idolize anyone, but I don't want to offend anyone either, you know?

Naturally the key is to be able to identify those of noble background. We are, after all, raised to carry ourselves in a different way, as well as speak in a certain manner.

I guess it's true that certain people have a different kind of air around them...

[Hmm.] The leader of our company likes to say that there isn't much point in treating people any differently if they haven't made an impact on you personally. Not even if they're kings.

I imagine that attitude is tremendously unpopular with kings.

You'd think so, but the one king we talked to seemed to like his spunk. None of the princesses or princes in the company seem to mind, either. I always think that he's just got a ton of dumb luck.

Hugo? Oh no, he was respectful to everyone. Especially me. He left quite the positive impression from the time we traveled together.

True. Though it was less lead and more cooperate. I was, after all, we were co-commanders. [Even if no one else acted like it. But she called dibs.]

R-Really? [Lilly is sounding more and more important to her world...] Don't take this the wrong way, but I had no idea.

Not everyone seemed to realize that was the case. But I suppose it was Hugo's right to take most of the spot light, given who he had become.

Grasslands? [It sounds like a plain, but people usually don't fight wars over little patches of land unless there's more at stake.]
