YAY!!!!!!!

congratulations!

Do I still get to do your dreads? If you say no i will cry.

I would put the kind of Native American that was on the reservation, e.g. "Sioux Reservation". That way there is no confusion or PC-ness involved.

I'm still unsure. But, I put off the SUBMIT button date because the recruiter/woman-I-bring-cookies-to-in-hopes-of-a-good-recommendation-to-the-national-office agreed to look over all my stuff before I actually DO send it off. I can ask pointed questions then.

The jury is out on whether or not I'm gonna do dreads. After much deliberation, I decided to check the box labeled "No Preference" under Preferred Geographical Location.

If I go to somewhere Equaterish, yes-- you may make me dready. If I end up in somewhere like Russia... no. I'd want my hair.

I'll keep ya posted, oh my hairstylist.

So, when you apply for the Peace Corps, you have to do this THOROUGH online application that makes you want to gnaw off your own arm. One of the pages asks for your geographical preference, and they give options like "North Africa", "Sub-Saharan Africa", "Eastern Europe", "The Caribbean", etc ( ... )
