i'm sorry friend. I completely understand what you mean. When i finished my outreach internship was about when outreach started to be something that didn't really happen at the church too much anymore (at least in the, here's a mint, jesus loves you kind of way). It was discouraging to feel like all those years absolutely dedicated to something ended with it going downhill. take heart, I know that you've really impacted some kids (and some bigger kids') lives. I'm sorry that Mark did the thing where you stay emotionally distant. stink.

i miss you friend. if you even CONSIDER leaving town May 16-21st, i will be SO sad. See you soon!

I'll potentially be leaving May 18th for San Fran. I intend to both leave my heart there AND wear some flowers in my hair.
