ha ha that is the BEST line of the movie!! i also like when he dumps the whole bucket of toss outs into his face - classic.

of course by the time i find the "hello from california" post you're already back. that's amazing how you and that lady met on the plane! that's just how i'd be if i sat next to someone with a cat, talking to them the whole time even though i'm really quiet any other time.

how did ali like the beach? had she ever seen a beach before? what did the other people on the beach think of her? did you take her out anywhere else?

that trip through wine country sounded so relaxing and peaceful. i'll bet that's just what you needed - to get away from everything and do something relaxing.

ali LOVED the beach. it was like the world's largest litterbox. the sand was warm and so was she!! it was so funny putting her next to the surf though, she knew it was water and would RUN when it starting coming towards her. other people on the beach didn't really notice her that much because there were oh DOLPHINS in the water about thirty yards out. hairless cat? no biggie. dolphins? get out your camera!

oh see i would have done exactly the opposite of those people - never mind the tourist stuff there's a CAT on the beach!!! i would have gone home with pictures of ali and missed the dolphins.
