WTF?! How can you know he killed them and think he is a humane human being?? I just don't see it at all. He deserves it and more...

Unhuman and unhumane are two very very different words, Danit. If I thought Scott's actions were humane, I'd have some serious issues. He is, however, still human.

I know the difference. yet I still beg to differ because someone who would do such a horrible thing can't possibly be human.

you know, i've tried to keep up with the whole case. and i tend to be really bad at knowing my opinion on important issues, like the death penalty for example. but just looking at that picture and knowing that he's going to die makes me disagree with it. he is a horrible person and according to his crimes he certainly deserves death but how will killing him justify his murders? it just doesn't sit well with me. there has to be a better answer than prison or death penalty.

lol sorry for the rant, i wasn't really prepared for it either. also, i think you have lush squirrely ball hair.

The evidence is pretty much all circumstantial and killing Scott, as you said, will not make the situation any better. I guarantee that. The death penalty is such an absurd form of punishment.

I really wasn't prepared to hear that I have lush squirrelly ball hair, but I'll consider it a compliment.

send him to iraq! yayayay

on a more serious note, i think that the death penalty should probably be suspended across the board since it's been shown to have been used in many cases where the convicted were actually innocent... while from what i know about this case suggests that peterson absolutely did it, and probably doesn't deserve life in society anymore, there are still ways in which he could produce/be a benefit for society. like being sent to iraq! but seriously, probably working in some prison industry for the rest of his life would be a better use of him.

....I'd be all for sending him to Iraq. After all, who would know how to kill better than someone with prior experience?

Wait, you're not serious about that? Ok, nevermind then.

I agree with Greg, also on the level that people that had NOTHING to do with his crime are being punished along with Scott, unjustifiably. His family and friends will be devastated if he's put to death. I am a firm believer in the notion that spending 50+ years in jail stewing over the horrible crime that he committed is enough punishment for Scott himself, without as much unnecessary externality.

Honestly! It's not like he'd be getting off free if he spent the rest of his life in prison. You've got to feel bad for his poor mother.
