Leeds Castle, wonderful. If you like that try Hever Castle too. It's in Kent, not too far away.

Ooh! I'll definitely look into Hever. Sounds like a nice daytrip for when my father comes in next. I think the most impressive thing about Leeds though was when you walk through that maze and then go underground into that ancient grotto. It was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a long time, and a wonderful reward for enduring the maze!

Yesterday night I was just telling this Victoria woman about how I almost ended up in Birmingham and was naming off the city's highpoints. She agreed that Brum was nice, but then summed it up when she said 'But it's not London.' It's true. Not many cities can really compare.

I'll let you know if I do find myself in Birmingham again. And if you ever come to London, I'd still love to meet up with you, too!!
