Rhetorical old lady question.

Someone just told me about the wonder that is the wii. Apparently you can play computer games like golf and tennis, as though you really are, while standing in your lounge room via the wireless controller. My question is, if it's so realistic, why not just go outside and play golf or tennis for real?

Because it is impossible to sink a 10 foot putt or charge the net while talking on a cell phone! It's is sad but true, we have become a socially dysfunctional society.

Hee hee. I agree, Kell. I can only play those sorts of games if I'm doing something I couldn't do otherwise, like killing aliens or fighting trolls ;)

However, I don't tend to be much of a fan for watching sports in general, even with real live humans. I much prefer to play sports than watch. Oh, it would be cool to watch Japanese snow monkeys play volleyball...
