Some degenerates hacked the UCLA servers and stole my Social Security number. Anyone who has had to deal with or prevent identity theft, I would love some advice about the most efficient way to prevent them ruining my credit in the States.

My poor Kell. I asked Jeremy about this and he said UCLA should give you free access to your credit report and provide you with various services to help you assess if 1) your credit is being damaged and 2) what actions to take to prevent or remedy fraud. It does, however, completely suck :( I'm sorry. Hopefully nothing will come of it, but it is still worrisome.
