One more reason I hate it when people their diets out in public.
Plus, I tend to trust fine restaurants to prepare food the way it should be done, so my special request is generally limited to "can you do that without the mushrooms?"

Oh--did you happen to see the BBC Shakespeare Re-told series? Four plays nicely updated. Midsummer was an iffy choice--when you get involved with the fairies and magic, there's a certain sameness bound to surface. Their Scottish play was set in a kitchen.

It has its moments, but I wouldn't make too much of an effort to watch it. Taming of the Shrew was magnificent though.

Very well-written and thoughtful account, Jerad. It's neat to get the inside scoop behind the counter. Perhaps little fish should be eaten as sushi or just deep fried whole? :) oh yum.

Jerad, glad to hear what you are up to and especially that you really seem to enjoy what you are doing. Jen and I always check Kell's blog and really love hearing what you two are doing. The pictures are a real treat. Jen is knee deep in babies but is coping well. I'll send more pictures soon. Happy Anniversary to you both!! Linda
