Non-sequitur riddled post ahead.

Jerad and I had a short holiday last weekend. We spent Friday at the cricket (Australia lost!) and headed to the Hunter Valley on Saturday morning. you mean kangas bouncing about in the wild?!?

did you EAT one? just kidding. i would love to see a kangaroo in the wild. do i sound like some retarded yank? is this similar to someone coming to the states and saying, "oooh, i'd love to see a raccoon in the wild!"

when i first read brokenwood, i thought it said drunkenwood - heh heh heh

don't let me drink alcohol when i come to visit. i never shut up...

Yep... bouncing about in the scrub, lying in the shade of tress, scratching their bellies. The collective noun is a mob of kangaroos, and there was a mob just chilling across the way from us at our hotel.

I bet the "never shut up" is good fun.

Peter watched the cricket on tv & he said to me the same thing - "Australia lost!" Hunter Valley sounds lovely Kell, I would prefer the not so busy week days too for short holidays. The heat keeps it queit too. I went to the stores on a hot day this week there was none of the usual weekend crowds - beautiful.
