I don't have just one. Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock for socks. Malabrigo in the soft and yummy category. I really enjoy Paton's Classic Merino for the cheap yet real nice knitting. There are more, yes.

9 skeins of Paton's Classic Merino in dark grey mix. It was on sale for $3.74/skein, which is way cheaper than I can get at my store with my discount. I cleaned them out, I'm lucky they had exactly 9 skeins in this color in the same dye lot. I've pretty much only been knitting my Rogue for the past week or so. I'm about 55 rounds in, I've just joined the kangaroo pocket and it's looking great so far. I'm officially knitting my Rogue! I'm beyond the bias hem of torture (I hate twisted stockinette, especially 2,352 stitches of it) and onto the body. Yay me. It's going well so far. I just felted my 2nd strap I made for my mom's endless bag. Again it came out all wonky. WTF? I figured the first time it came out weird because I knit it in linen stitch. This time I did a combination of garter and stockinette and it felted the exact same way. Interesting... the bag itself felted great, it's funny, people always say the straps ( Read more... )

I started my River stole today. I'm 20 rows in, only 220 rows left!!! I'm knitting it with size 9 needles instead of the recommended 10 1/2 US. I like the fabric it's producing, yet it's still wider than the pattern says, which makes no sense. But whatever. Wider is fine, as long as I can finish it with 2 balls of yarn ( Read more... )

My Rowan Kid Silk Haze came today. I got a couple of balls in Liqueur, a deep burgundy color. I am going to make River from Rowan 38.
