Well, I have finally managed to find somewhere to live. I don't think I realised quite how stressed I had become, as I felt so much more relaxed when I'd sorted it out. I am very fed up with looking for somewhere to live. Having searched round I finally found somewhere that would do, said I would take it, and thought things would be ok from there, relaxing in the knowledge that I wouldn't have to look at any more houses. Hmm... haven't got much to say about this week. It's been mostly the same as ever, work and stuff. I've started flat-hunting (not to be confused with fact-hunting) and hopefully I'll get to go and see a couple of promising places next week. So I have Brendan Benson's album, 'The Alternative To Love', and it's really rather good. I have to say that 'What I'm Looking For' is the best new song I've heard in ages in terms of getting inside my brain so that I just sing it all the time. Having listened to Ben Folds' new album lots more I thought I would mention that it has really grown on me and that it's lyrically brilliant, as usual. However, I do still think it could do with some more variety as all the songs, while excellent in their own right, are very much of the same type which means that the album sounds a bit unremarkable ( Read more... )
