Things I like about working from home:

• Microwaved Cornflakes
• Slipknot (and colleagues not complaining)
• My OWN coffee
• Not having to avoid colleagues swinging a wiimote around, inches from my head
• No commute :)

I was just at a police station, giving a statement. I had to force myself not to correct his grammar, spelling, use of "who/whom", and over- (and inconsistent-) use of & and "et" (the struck-through epsilon thingy) as he "took down" my statement (basically, wrote it in his words, then reading it back to me ( Read more... )

An elderly lady drove into my path this morning as I was riding along in an empty lane, she trying to cross that lane to pull into a stuffed one beside me. So I've had rather a geeky week (thanks to pause4paws for helping me with it lots!). Amongst other things, I've (re-)started using pgp/gpg, and have been EVANGELISING on its use.

Wake up everyone, and entertain me. I was out last night and didn't get to bed until 3:30am. So I need some STIMULUSses, er, i, er, xen. Thing.

Flying in the face of thesme_01's predictions about weather, the sun decided it was going to pop out for a few seconds. Fortunately, I'd chosen that particular moment to have a little 30-mile pleasure ride around the area I live.
