is there any way to view more than just a few friends entries on your friends page?  or do you have to go to each person's page to view things older than a few days?

Depends on the layout, most have a "go earlier" or something of the like ("previous" near the top looks like it might be yours). Or you can do something like http://mario05.livejournal.com/friends?skip=20 (where the number at the end is how many entries to skip).

Now that I look at it some more, you don't have that anywhere, and you only see 6 at a time (so skip=6, then skip=12, and so on).

I set mine up awhile ago to show 50 at a time. I can dig up how to do that, if you want.

i figured out how to change the number of showing entries. that helps. i just don't check my friends page a lot, so i always have a lot to catch up on at a time :-p
