Yes! My first real veg box challenge. What would you do with two kohlrabi?

You can boil them like regular cabbage, too.

I chopped and sauteed/simmered to go with chicken and onions over rice. :)

Turn it into a character in a fantasy book I was writing. No wait, someone already did that.

I'm going to be really unhelpful here, but: THROW THEM AWAY. :)

(Allergic to brassicas.)

Heh. They've had several dubious looks now. I'm all about iron cheffing it up, but I'm not so sure about this one.

(Not allergic, just suspicious.)

They always look like celeriac to me and I love celeriac, so I'd probably make a delicious roasted root dish, or else put them in a pot with a pot roast, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, and a couple of kinds of mushroom and make hobbit's dinner.

Yeah, I think they're going in some kind of roast root veggie dish, I've got a lot of those hanging around. They're red ones, so they'll make a nice contrast against the others.

We peel them and shave them with carrots into a raw salad, maybe with some celery or shredded cabbage. A ginger-miso-sesame dressing works well with it.

Ooh, this sounds like it would be good for a bento box, which I'm conveniently making for lunch tomorrow!
