Now that you have written one will you be writing more soon?

I plan to. I started a long one a few years ago (third in my Mind of series) and I think I'd like to drag it back out and give it a go again. My typing is so slow and I don't last long before I have to quit so I won't be posting until I'm basically finished with whatever I'm working on. I hate being left for weeks waiting on the next chapter and I refuse to do that to readers. I'm also looking forward to Secret Santa. I do hope to have a few short ones while working on the big one just to keep out there.

I've missed fanfiction so much!!!!!!!

Oh yeah that is good news! I do hope your arm is feeling
Better soon! I miss your stories....

Even I have been inspired of late to jump
Back in to the fanfic writing pool as of late... We will see how that goes.

But gads I am in Atlantis withdrawals so i am excited
To See you back writing ... You were always one of my favorite :)

I tend to stay in Atlantis withdrawals. No new shows. Very little new fanfiction and so much of what there is tends to be slash, fluff, or OC centered. Many of my long-time favorite authors have moved on to other fandoms and rarely or never write SGA any more. So sad!! I may be slow, but I will never quit writing SGA.

I'll be anxiously waiting to see what you come up with. We can keep each other entertained!!

It really was special. The whole idea of stargates and the lost city and the Ancients is so awesome. And the chemistry of the actors and the characters is almost magical. I have new shows I watch and enjoy, but nothing comes close to SGA. I need to get a new DVD player so I can watch some episodes - mine seems to have given up the ghost.

I was just scanning through what I might have missed while I was away at the Fan Expo and I found this. I'm so glad I didn't miss it altogether. SGA stories are much rarer these days.

This story was so much fun, full of team banter and misadventure. It was a treat to read.

I've read about your arm and I am sorry to hear the healing process has been so slow. How frustrating and challenging that must be!

I'm happy to hear you are still going to write SGA because I still love SGA stories and have always enjoyed your tales. (I hope to get back to a few of my own this fall, too.)

I'm green with envy over the Fan Expo - looks like it was pretty cool. I thought about trying for Dragon Con but my summer job fell through this year and that was my mad money for crazy stuff like conventions.

Thanks. It will be 10 months on the seventh and it's just frustrating as heck. It's better, but there is still so much I can't do. We were talking about driving stick shifts the other day and I realized if I still had one, I couldn't have driven until just a couple of weeks ago. I'm just now shifting with my right hand again. Thank goodness for automatic transmissions.

I've missed writing SGA. And reading it - New ones are few and far between, especially good ones of the Sheppard h/c nature. I'm thrilled to hear you have some in the works and hope to get to read them soon. It's odd because I was just rereading a couple of your stories earlier today. We must have been mentally connecting or something (LOL).

Thanks again and hope you enjoyed your trip!!!

Great fic! amycat8733 September 13 2012, 03:58:21 UTC
This was great! I love your stuff. An idyllic planet rears its head and bites our team (literally) on the butt! The snark was dead on. I have trouble getting Rodney snarky enough in my own stuff, but I have a great beta who is helping me with that.

Best wishes on your recovery. Hope you get to the third "Mind" story soon.

Thank you so much!! Great betas are worth their weight in gold. I'm currently plotting on the Mind of an Ancient and I think I've figured out how to fix what I have so I don't have to start completely over. Thanks again!!

Another fun packed episode in the life of SGA-1. The banter was spot on. the whole snowballing effect of the flowers, grass, bees leeches and hyenas was wonderful to behold. alive but mangled! excellent fic.
