Reptile Show
So I finally got to attend my first reptile show today. I looked for years, but they were always too far away. Someone finally decided to have one close to me, like just 1 1/2 hour drive away. My iguana thinks he's a velociraptor
My school superintendent recently gave me a three year old iguana that had belonged to his son while he was in college. He's been a sweetie so far and we've spoiled him rotten (the iguana, not my boss or his son). He loves to have his neck rubbed just on either side of the row of spines down his back. Nice Day
I had a really nice birthday today (no, we aren't talking about which one). I sent my youngest daughter to the farmer's market for veggies this morning and she brought back the requested items plus a nice bouquet of flowers for me (I was going to post a picture but I can't remember how). A funny thing happened on the way . . .
So, my youngest daughter has developed this weird ear problem (because apparently no one in this house gets the normal problems - only odd and uncommon for us). The local ENT doc sent us to a doctor at the Children's Hospital to check it out and decide if it needed surgery. It's a two and a half hour drive, so we stop halfway to hit McDonald's.
