For some reason, I think my real Japanese experience is starting now. For the last month, most of my time, energy, and understanding was revolving around preparation for this huge 3 day festival. Dance practice, preparing a booth that represents North America, band rehearsal, plus classes really left little time for myself to get a genuine feel for Hachioji, much less Japan. The cultural stuff, of course, smacks you in the face immediately yet noticing the differences between here and 'home' is hardly something I would call experience

Second of all----why is the bear in your mood thing humping the clock? Interesting...

Apparently when youre awake... and a bear, youre natural instinct is to hump. That poor clock was the closest thing. Just be glad it wasnt you!
