The scoop: Ginny is at Benden, where Aneleth is getting ready to clutch. T'ral shows up for a picnic with her and some of their friends from Benden. He relates the events of the hatching, they discuss their thoughts on same, and then they speak of R'vain's visit afterwards.

I think what I enjoyed most about this log is listening to T'ral and Ginny discuss children and comparing it to the vignette where Ginella is that holder girl popping out a dozen babies. I love the contrast. That our Ginella thinks to say 'here is a limit and here is what I want'. Poor holder Ginny would never do either.

I love how T'ral is such a product of his times. He's such a chauvanist and a man's man an so clearly sees a woman as having a set role. But at the same time, he's a really nice good wonderful guy. It's a beautiful balance.

There was no secret. So much. It just was not advertised to the whole weyr. Which is, ummm, not exactly the same thing. Besides, as far as anyone but our esteemed weyrleaders know Min decided to do it at the last minute is all. :)

And he is not creepy! *sobs* We have to find time for dinner some night.

Even though my name and my psycho's was taken in vain I still enjoyed reading this.
