So, Glenn threw a surprise birthday party for me yesterday. Today was a weird day. As I was walking across campus earlier today to go do Akkadian homework in the Oriental Institute, I saw two solemn, dark-haired women walking in my direction. I have to confess . . .
I am a Dr. Smith fangirl. Not in the sense that I rabidly squee over him or anything like that, mind you, but I do root for him. So, I'm done with the first quarter of my third year, and it went insanely fast. I'm not sure yet how unhappy I should be that I'm not stuck with Akkadian for the next two years. I'll be heading back to PA on Sunday evening for a visit with teh famileh.
