I have to be more careful what I wish for.
For those who don't know, I recently got a temp job at a call center. I basically accepted it out of desperation. It pays $12 an hour, and it's located right on the bus line so I don't have to drive to work. It seemed like a decent enough gig, but I'm having serious second thoughts about it.

Thoughts and Updates
Since I haven't posted here in a little while, I think an update is in order.
I am still looking for a job, but I have to admit to not looking as hard as I was. I keep waffling between working full-time outside the home and just writing full-time. This latest waffling happened when I realized that any job I have outside the home I get will most ( Read more... ) -
Wow. I'm actually getting results.
It's been about a week since I decided to get a "real" job instead of writing full-time. Since then, I've been able to set up interviews with two temp agencies, a nearby school district interested in hiring me as a paraprofessional and a group home, even though the group home interview will need to be rescheduled. So today I went to a job fair that turned out to be really productive. I gave my resume to an employment agency that may have admin and clerical work nearby, a nonprofit that was interested in having me write for them as a mental health blogger and an upcoming job interview for a group home position. Another New Blog Post
I wrote a post over at my blog at http://burning-around-the-edges.blogspot.com about the upcoming Red Dawn remake. Aside from stating that I think it's a really stupid idea for a remake, I also point out why I think it's kind of offensive.
