I just thought it was worth noting that the oldest Olympic athlete just marched for the Virgin Islands of all places. She is their only athlete, and is a 52 year-old luger. Crazy! Maybe there is Olympic hope for me after all. I'm moving to St. Thomas!

So the Winter Olympics opening ceremonies are on, which I love. First of all, they are in Italy, so I wish I could be there. I really can't wait to go back some day, but alas, sadly it will not be for the Olympics. Just got done with my first day of classes for the spring semester, with my next two coming up tomorrow. To be completely honest, I don't really know what I am taking tomorrow, but they are both with the same professor, one who I had last semester. So I just got back from my two night stay at the Hospital of St. Raphael and I could not be happier about it. My surgery went well and there were no complications, but my stay there has definitely convinced me to do whatever is necessary to stay out of the hospital in the future. Well I'm finally home after my first semester of grad school, and its good to be here. The next few days will be a busy, as I have to do almost all of my Christmas shopping tomorrow, and then obviously Saturday and Sunday will be busy, especially Saturday for my family.
