OK for non-Denverites: The Church is an awesome old-school (early 1900s) Church that has been turned into a nightclub.

My favorite nights to go there are Friday - when it's free for girlies - and Sunday, when it's free before 10:00.  On Sundays it's goth/industrial/etc. in both rooms downstairs but on Fridays it's psuedo-goth in the cool room ( Read more... )

Well I gained ten pounds last year due mainly to lack of exercise (I was extremely busy, OK?).

It may not seem like much to some people but I have been cruising at around 135-140 since the early 1990s, so being at 150 makes me feel like the Goodyear blimp!  About 80% of my old clothes no longer fit so now that I have more time and not so much money  ( Read more... )

Am I the only one who cringes during Kay Jewelers' commercials when they sing "Every kiss begins with Kay?"

I suppose it's meant as hyperbole, but to me it's just disgusting!

To think that every expression of affection has its roots in jewelry is bad enough, but to assert it starts with jewelry from a specific company is beyond arrogance.

So I love Desperate Housewives (y Amas de Casa Desesperadas tambien!) but they keep switching it from 8:00 to 9:00 MST and back again.  So I started setting the VCR (yes I am old school dearies!) to tape from 8:00-10:00, which means when DH is on at 8:00 I also catch Brothers and Sisters at 9:00.

So I was at the Church (nightclub) and one bartender (Doug) brought in some clean glasses for the other one (Suz).

He put them on the bar in five stacks.  The two stacks in back were the tallest, the one in the middle was about two glasses shorter, and the two in front were one glass shorter than the medium-sized one in the middle.

OK first off I forgot to post about another one of my weird dreams. This one is not particularly gross so I will not do the cut thing as I did before.
