Saint Petersburg is the most amazing city in the world. It's common to find 500 year old buildings here. The art is fantastic along with everything else that you can see. I love it here, much more so than my bland old Saratov... it happens. That's it for now.

So the best part about being in a sub-zero climate is that you are constantly using energy just to survive outside. Plus when you only have 12 hours of obligation a week it leaves you a lot of free time, hence I go to the gym "often," like 5 times a week. How weird is that to say? I moved from the Mid-West United States to the barren Mother Land of Russia. And it's every bit as cold as you've ever been told. There's has been one day in the last 35 that it has topped negative numbers...

I was just looking at some pictures of myself from freshman year... man have I ever changed. It crazy to think that in what, like three years, I have completely changed. I look old.
