So, I'm watching The Lights of Zetar, the episode from which Trek Wiki Memory Alpha takes its name. Kirk & company beam down to the damaged station. It's supposed to contain a computer archive of all of the Federation's knowledge or something similarly grandiose, but evil aliens just attacked it

This is a similar argument I have with the new Battlestar Galactica. So the Cylons have many resurrection ships, but all are controlled by one central hub that can be easily destroyed? Now no Cylons can resurrect? Some plan this is.

My most infamous one (sorry, I don't know the title) is one where they beam down, find everybody dead, and figure that everyone's crazy because they fooled around in the shower with their clothes on. No pictures of this, but 2 references.

But what's this? Tellarites are known to be an impatient people with "stubborn pride". They have a propensity toward strong emotion.

Not only do I look like a Tellarite, but Bikerbaer will probably concur me as being "stubborn" and "emotional."

You're thinking of "The Naked Time", right? The one where Sulu runs around shirtless with a sword? Yeah, it wasn't one of their better moments. In fairness, it was very early in the series... episode #4.

Well, to be fair, the backups were on JAZ and ZIP disks, and the last time they tried to restore them, all they got were annoying clicks from the drive.
