not saying I don't approve, but my brain recognised it as at least 5 other bands at the same time when it started playing

I will admit that they do sound similar to some other bands, in particular In Flames and possibly At The Gates, but thats probably because In flames, dark tranquility and at the gates all emerged from the same scene at a similar time. in fact, anders fridjen from in flames was dark tranquility's original lead singer. I was pretty suprised by the post-chorus riff in the non-lego video, it seemed rather major-key for the rest of the song, shifts it into a more epic/bouncy place for a little while
