listen. if you want to be with heather then fuck yeah and be with her. i was in the same position exactly. things werent working and we were both hurting and friends were bitching "i lost my best friend" same scenerio and everytime things were messed up i would run to my friends and they got sick of hearing about it but then things would be okay and my friends would tell me i was stupid and i didnt care because i was madly in love and still am. and then things would get messed up and eventually my friends just werent there anymore. and then we ended up breaking up after two perfect years and i dont think anything has hurt me so much in my entire life.. so be with her you guys cant change each other or yourselves its impossible so just be yourselves and you will hate each other but deep down your in love. so never break up esp. after a long relatinship -- because it fucking hurts.
