Normally, I can handle stupid when I'm at work. Today, however, I was ready to kill. Let's start with the kids who come in at 7:30ish. I'm ringing the first one up and he asks for a can of snuff. I card him, like I do everyday. I put the snuff down and his buddy grabs it. I look at him and he says in a nice cocky attitude "I'm 18. Wanna see my ID

You know, you can refuse sale merely because you don't like someone :)

This is a glorious fact. I almost refused sale to a pregnant 19-year-old because she got in a huff when I asked for her ID. Big, dramatic sighs, rolled eyes, etc. Luke was all "You should have refused sale because she didn't act like the age printed on the license." I really should have. It seems to me she wanted her swollen belly to act as a mark of age. Ha. Ha. Ha.
