Life

There are times in my life when I think "When is my life going to start as an adult". Now many of you are wondering what I am talking about. I am talking about growing up, geting married, starting a family, and so on. I used to think that I would be married by the age 22, now I am almost 29 and still single (though taken). Life never really ( Read more... )

Um... I don't want to burst a bubble here... but babies, up until a certain age - and I'll be honest that I'm not entirely sure if this encompasses babies as old as four months or not - really can't focus on anything too far away. So it is entirely possible that the baby was fascinated by the pale amorphous thing passing in and out of its line of sight.

Or, it could be the next incarnation of the Dalai Lama. At this point, we don't know.

The baby was staring at me the whole day. Now I dont know if I had an "aura" that the baby thought facinating or what...but she was staring! She didnt stare at anyone else!

I know that everyone will most likely say the same thing- to keep on waiting, even though that's what you've been doing, but I really think that is what has to be done! God is never doing anything in your life just to laugh at you, or see your reaction. Everything has a purpose. Maybe you weren't ready to be married at 22, maybe the man God has for you to marry was not ready for you yet at 22. We all have ideas of how we think our life should go, but God can see the entire Master plan, and His plan is better than anything we could possibly have. I know exactly what you're feeling, because I'm right there with you. Most of my friends are married, and yesterday I attended a baby shower for my best friend. There were only 4 unmarried girls there, and everyone else had a baby or 2, or more! And some of them were younger than me!! But God knows that I shouldn't be married right now, nor have children. The time we spend single as Christians can be some of the sweetest time with God. We don't have the distractions of a husband or children ( ... )

interesting log, i am sure you would make a fun mom, but remember that little day of fun does not in anyway reflect teh responsibility and pain and problems that kids bring. You think you have no time now, when you are in bed 1-2 hours earlier because the child has run you ragged, you will have less time for you b/f or at that time husband. Other peoples kids are always better you can have them drink pepsi and than shake them up and giving them back to their parents when they are ready to explode. 8P

Boxer here, I think James 2: vs14-18 might hold some hope for you. Many Christians believe that God has plans for them. They are right, God does, but the only person that can make those come to pass is us, and in this we serve God. Serving God is hard work and if there’s one thing that this culture does to everyone - it’s that it steals our time. We are so rushed that we often eat in our cars and visit with friends only by cell phone. Reading your journal has helped me reflect on the time that I have let rush by in getting caught up in the race ( ... )

You can TOTALY comment on my journaling. I welcome all to do so, otherwise I would not have made it websavy. It is nice to see you post something and I am glad you like my journaling, thoughts and frustrations. But now I am a tad confused.....why so much "stirring the pot" on the other site? ::chuckle:: You sound like you are a very friendly person, but boy did you get a lot of peoples goats! ::giggle:: (if I am not mistaken on the name Boxer)

Well I do believe political discussion is important- some times I will say anything just to get it started. From talking to GG Crew I believe he understands that many of the things I say are just meant to get a response. I’ve enjoyed your responses, and Cream Puff’s, I think when you read Karnblack’s you can see that he’s joking at every turn. He knows me very well. Anyway thank you for being so amiable when (even to me) I must sound very mean and dogmatic. - Yes I am Boxer.
