Well, it's been a very long time since I've updated. I did not get any of the positions that I had put in for, but I will get a new job the beginning of August. I'm not unhappy where I work, but recently I put out my resume to a couple different places within my division. I highly doubt I will hear anything from either place, but as I got closer to my first interview with one of the positions, the more I wanted to work there. Today after speaking with someone who attended my wedding, I am saddened by what he said he saw. The ceremony itself was exactly how I would want it- a Christian ceremony. I have recently gotten quite annoyed with a specific subject- gender roles. Now I am fairly traditional when it comes to the roles a man and woman should play, but I think the hard and fast rules about who can do what type of tasks is ridiculous.
