I am so upset right now. For the first time in our year and half a month of dating, I wanted to throw something at my Boyfriend. See, he is a busy person and we never get to spend time with each other except on the weekends. Lately, I don't even get to see him then! Nothing is wrong with you- you're a girl! :) But seriously, it is hard to see things from another's perspective when we're int eh middle of it. You want time with your boyfriend- and that's a good thing! Something would be wrong if you didn't want to see him. But it is hard to realize that he has needs, too. You said yourself that you both need the hours at work, and when he's sick he needs time to get better. I can kind of see it from both sides right now. I have been sick with Mono for about a month now, and my boyfriend has been very understanding, however I didn't realize things from his side until later. He needed some "us time" and I needed "sick time" which didn't include him being all cuddly. What I didn't see is that he needed that just as much as I needed some alone time. So instead of us both being frustrated, we compromised. He gave me some space, and I gave him some time. We didn't even really talk about it, it just kinda worked out that way.
