i think you should stay and duke out the rest of the year. then, during the summer, you can travel (because tourist season is summertime and more than likely, if you have a friend that might travel with you, it'd be an easier idea with your parents). it's only been a few months since you started anyways, y'know?

You know what, I TRULY know how you feel. Being a art student myself, the environment is different. I understand college is a scary place because we are not really familar with it. Art school and other schools alike, everyone goes thru this. They either keep going to the school and hope for the better or take some time to "think." MY best advise I could give you is to ask yourself, "What do I really want to do?" Is fashion what you really want to do, like for the rest of your life? If not you should take a year off or transfer to another school and broaden your perspective on things. BUT I still want you to carry on the next semester of CCA and IF THEN YOU REALLY CANT STAND IT, ditch the school and go somewhere else. I can't type a whole lot in this comment thingy so call me, well anytime after 3:15. ^^

Same thing.. only mine was forced on me.

If you're not sure, I really would recommend taking a few quarters/semesters off, and doing something with your time such as getting a full-time job, doing community service work, and any other positively viewed activity. Also, if you can, try to use that money and save up to bankroll yourself on the road for about a week, and just explore life without school, job, or responsibility.

For some reason, by the time you come back, you should be able to have sorted out what's been going on in your life, and will know what to do with it. It's kinda risky, but if you aren't sure where you're going, it's best to stop and try to find out where you're going.

Wish you best, and call me if you're considering this. I'd love to help any way I can. =]
