I read today that the pollen index was at 900, the highest it's ever been. Normally, it's supposed to peak at around 100-150. I don't normally have allergies, and I'm being told that the reaction I'm having to the pollen is not an allergic one. my boss at work spells everything very traditionally, he made me change every instance of the word "theater" to "theatre". that's so 19th century.

there were maybe 12 photographs in the show, 6 of them being his abstract liquid-i-still-don't-know-what-it-is images. there was only one image that wasn't either a drawing or an abstract photo, which was the balls-from-behind photo, which was framed. aesthetically, his "drawings" weren't too interesting either, most of them being digital c-prints of scanned photocopies of a chicken scratches, notes, and, oddly enough, some of his older photographs of his friends. there was this one photo in the show that i'm glad to have seen, it was a giant print of i think grass or something green, and I can't remember exactly what the name of the image was, but it was clever, something to do with focusing.

wolfgang's conceptual stuff, fine i can take, but aesthetically, they wereen't very interesting. if ps1 maybe had more information on his work and his Empire project, then maybe I would have invested more time and I would have gotten more out of the show.

i just flipped through the tate catalogue and the ps1 exhibit pales in comparison.
